Which parts of my Wix site can sync with QuickBooks?

You can sync sales through any of the following apps:
  • Wix Stores (including POS)
  • Wix Bookings
  • Wix Video
  • Wix Audio
  • Wix Events
  • Wix Art Store
  • Pricing Plans app
  • Wix Invoices

Can I sync payments retroactively?

Yes. You can sync payments made from the beginning of the current year. To do this, simply select the desired start date during setup.
Tip:
Make sure you do not sync sales you have already entered into QuickBooks. For example, if you connect Wix to QuickBooks on March 1st, and you manually entered sales from your Wix Store for all of January into QuickBooks, start the sync from February 1st.

After setup, how often will my site sync with QuickBooks?

Every time there is a transaction, your site sync with QuickBooks automatically.

How are sales recorded?

Each complete transaction you make in your Wix site syncs with QuickBooks. This means that if a customer buys a $10 hat and a $20 shirt, one sales receipt for $30 is created in QuickBooks. You can click the sales receipt to view purchase details:
  • Wix app where sale was made: Wix Stores, Wix Bookings, etc.
  • Transaction id: Can be used to track the transaction in Wix.
  • Total number of items: If a customers purchases two of an item, each is listed separately.
  • Item names and number of each purchased: E.g. Chocolate Cupcake, 4

What if I need to refund a customer?

Refunds do not sync automatically, however, you can add them manually in your QuickBooks dashboard.

I don't yet have a QuickBooks account. How do I get started?

Click to go to QuickBooks and sign up, then start setting up an account. Before connecting your Wix site to your QuickBooks account, make sure you have:
  • A QuickBooks subscription (can be a free trial)
  • At least one QuickBooks income account
  • At least one payment method set up in QuickBooks
In addition, make sure that the currency you are using in your Wix site is one of your selected QuickBooks currencies.
