In January 2026, we launched the Wix Harmony Editor, a flexible and intuitive website builder tailored for self-creators. The new editor offers the best of both worlds – while you have full control of the design, Aria, your built-in AI agent, is always there when you need a boost.
In this article, learn all about the new editor and how it differs from Wix Editor.
In the next few months, Wix Harmony will live side-by-side with the classic Wix Editor as we roll it out gradually. Wix Studio remains your go-to for projects requiring advanced design capabilities like custom CSS, layouting tools, code (Velo) and more.
What is Wix Harmony?
With Wix Harmony, you’re never limited to one way of working – build your site visually with precise drag and drop, or let AI generate designs that you can refine. The interface around the page is clean and easy to scan, and the dynamic action bar at the top shows the most relevant tools for the element you’re working on.
Wix Harmony sites are automatically responsive. The design instantly adjusts to look good on any device, from desktop to smartphone. Having said that, you can customize the desktop and mobile breakpoints if you need to move, hide or adjust elements.

Building your site in the Wix Harmony Editor is all about combining your ideas with the power of AI. Aria, your built-in AI agent, helps you build sites quickly and efficiently by creating content and performing actions for you.
Aria covers a wide range of site-building and management tasks, so you can move from idea to execution faster. Using the site’s details and business info, it can personalize answers and suggestions for you.

Use this link to create a new site with the Wix Harmony Editor. At the moment, Wix Harmony sites can only be created from this link, but once created they appear in your workspace as usual.
The main differences between Wix Editor and Wix Harmony
Read below about the main differences between the 2 editors:

You can use AI Tools for specific purposes like generating or editing content (e.g. text or images), but AI does not guide you throughout editing in the same way Aria does in Wix Harmony. | Wix Harmony is built around AI from the start. You can describe your business and let Aria generate a full site with pages, sections and starter content, then refine it in the editor. While you work, you can also use Aria and other AI tools to redesign sections, adjust layouts, and improve text or images directly on the canvas. |

However, you can adjust the mobile-friendly version that’s automatically created based on your desktop content. | Wix Harmony is auto‑responsive.
