Wix Editor: About Social Sharing

You want to control how your web pages look when they are shared on social networks. Having great images, titles and descriptions for each page of your site makes your business look professional and increases the chances that people will come to your site. 
Wix automatically adds Social Share meta tags (known as open graph or og tags) to your pages so that search engines and social networks display them properly. You can customize the text and image that display when you share your site's pages on social networks.
Tip:
You can also customize your page's Twitter Settings to display a different text and image for pages that you share on Twitter. 

To change your social share settings:

  1. Click the Pages icon  on the left side of the Editor.
  2. Click the relevant page.
  3. Click the Show More icon .
  4. Click Social Share to change your social share settings:
    • Click Upload Image to add an image.
    • Click the Change icon  to replace the image
    • Click the Delete icon to remove the image. 
    • Add a title under What's the page's og:title (title on social media)?.
    • Add a description under What's the page's og:description (description on social media)?
  5. Click Twitter Settings to change your Twitter share settings:
    • Click Upload Image to add an image.
    • Click the Change icon  to replace the image
    • Click the Delete icon  to remove the image. 
    • Choose the card size under What size card do you want to display on Twitter?.
    • Add a title under What's the page's twitter:title (title on Twitter)?.
    • Add a description under What's the page's twitter:description (description on Twitter)?.
Tip:
For best results, upload an image that is at least 600 x 315 pixels. Learn More.
