Wix offers a suite of innovative AI tools, many of which are free and can be used without AI credits. However, to enhance your experience and best cater to your brand and business needs, some AI-powered agents and tools require AI credits to use.
All new Wix Premium plans include AI credits. Credits can be used in products like AI Site Chat, AI Custom Agent, and Wixel to optimize your business’s operations, support your customers, and create on-brand designs. If you use Wix with a free plan, you’ll receive a limited number of daily AI credits.
While Wix’s AI is designed to deliver the best possible results, outcomes may vary and we can’t guarantee that AI-generated outputs will meet a specific level of quality, accuracy, or relevance. Make sure to review all outputs before using or publishing them.
Understanding your AI credits
When you purchase a new Premium plan, your Wix account automatically receives AI credits. These credits refresh every month based on your plan’s purchase date, and any unused credits from the previous month expire at that time. On free plans, your AI credits reset each day (up to a maximum of 120 credits per month).

Credits apply to your entire Wix account, not just the site connected to your Premium plan. You can use them for any AI tasks across different sites or products in the Wix ecosystem.
Important:
- When you purchase a Premium plan that includes AI credits, you are entitled to use those credits for certain designated AI features. AI credits are not a digital currency, security, commodity, or any other kind of financial instrument and are not redeemable for any cash value. AI credits are only redeemable for the specified AI features across the Wix ecosystem.
- Wix reserves the right at any time to change the credit cost, the number of credits required for using AI features, and the AI tools that use credits.
Using your AI credits
The exact number of actions you can take and how many credits each action uses is not guaranteed. The cost of an AI prompt or action depends on the length and complexity of your request and which tool you’re using.
The credit cost is calculated after an action is completed. You can check your remaining credit balance in your account after completing the action.
The table below gives an estimated cost for each feature that uses credits. These numbers are based on standard models and the average complexity of a request, and are provided as examples only.

Important:
Some tools include automated features which might use up your credits without you taking action directly. For example, an auto-email triggered by a customer or an AI chat conversation with a site user.
Checking your AI credit balance
Check your AI credit balance at any time by clicking your profile at the top right of your account. You can see your current credit balance in the AI credit balance window, as well as the date your credits will renew.
If you have more than 1 site plan with an AI credit allowance, the credits due to expire soonest will be used first.
Tip:
Depending on the AI tool you use, it can take time for credits to be deducted from your balance. If you don’t see your balance updated right away, wait up to 15 minutes before checking again.
Renewing your AI credits
Unused AI credits do not roll over to the next credit cycle. Your credits automatically reset each month, and your account is topped up with the number of credits included in your plan.
- Free plan: You can use up to 30 credits per day, up to a maximum of 120 credits per month. Credits renew each day until you have used a total of 120 credits in a single month.
- Wix Premium plans: Credits renew monthly based on the date you purchased your plan. For example, if you purchased a plan on January 10, your credits renew on the 10th of every month.
