How do I change the background of my site?
There are three ways:
1. In your editor, go to Background (left side) > Site > choose Color > Close > OK.
2. Go to Background (left side of Editor) > Master Page > choose one.
3. Right click on a picture you want to use as a background > Set item as background.

How do I add content to only one Page? It appears on all of my Pages.
Please make sure that the content you're adding has been attached to the relevant slide. In the editor, click on the item and drag it inside the border. You will notice four arrows/triangles to make sure you are inside the page.

How do I add a photo?
From your editor go to My Files > Pics > Upload.

How do I expand a video to full screen?
Simply stretch it until it covers the whole screen! You can find a video tutorial about how to add videos here .
How can I play continuous music on my site?
To play music continuously, use Pages and place the music player outside of the Page (on the Master Page).
Since only the Pages transition within Master Pages, your music player will not be affected and will keep on playing.
Make sure that you set the music player to play automatically by clicking the music player to select it and then clicking Settings from the property panel (on the right of the Editor) and choosing Auto Play.
How can I set the music to start automatically?
Click the music player to select it > click Settings > checkmark Auto Play.
How can I upload my own documents?
From your editor > go to My Files > Docs > Upload Docs.
Note: You can upload these file types: doc & .docx, .xls & .xlsx, .ppt & .pptx, .odt, .pdf.

Text
How do I link a text inside a paragraph?
Highlight the text > from the property panel on the right, click Link > add the URL.
How do I add a Scroll Bar?
Go to Add >Text > Paragraph > Scrollbar > choose a scrollbar. Drag & drop the scrollbar and customize the size of the Paragraph box.
Click Edit to add text. As you add text that's longer than the box size, the scrollbar will appear.
Please note that we are working on adding a scroll area feature which will allow you to scroll a text and a picture together.

How do I add a link to a photo in a gallery?
Click the gallery to select it > from the property panel on the right, click Manage > select a photo > click Add Link > add a link.

How do I get the gallery description and title to show up?
Click the gallery to select it > from the property panel on the right, click Skins > choose a skin > under Show Info: select Title & desc.

How do I add borders to the pictures in the slideshow?
Click the slideshow gallery to select it > from the property panel on the right, click Skins > choose a skin.

How can I add shipping details to my Online Store?
You can add your shipping criteria through your PayPal or Google Checkout account. When your customers click Check Out on your Wix site they are directed to your PayPal or Google Checkout page. The shipping that you set is then added to the total amount of their purchase.

How do I move a Wix site that I created in one account into a different one?
You can transfer any of your Wix sites to a different Wix account by logging into the Wix Arena and going to the Transfer Sites section. This feature may be very useful for Wix Pro designers or for any Wix user who would like to move his or her website to a different Wix account.

Please note that you can only transfer the site; it isn't possible to transfer a premium package from one account to another.

How can I speed up my Wix site loading time?
Wix is a rich internet multimedia environment and it is very tempting to create excessive pages.
For best performance, we suggest the following guidelines:
1. Limit the number of animations and effects that appear on the same page.
2. Reduce the size of your media (pics, videos etc) before uploading it. In the future, this will be done automatically by our system.
3. Distribute your content over several pages. This will improve loading times and overall load.

Note: Usually it takes anywhere from 1 to 3 months for Google to update its database and for your site to be indexed. Finding your site using your relevant keywords may take even more time.
How do I create the effect of "pop up" on roll?
1. From the editor, upload your photo: My Files > Pics > Upload.
2. Create a square: Add > Clipart > Shapes. Place the square on top of the picture (make sure that it covers it completely).
3. Change the color of the square to the exact same color as your background.
4. Create a text box: Add > Text > Titles. Place the text box on top of the square.
5. Select the square and the text, click the Group icon to the left of the selected components.
6. Click on your new group to select it, then click: Behaviors > Transparency on Roll.
