PS Looking for google webmaster tools - we're working on it but it may be a while.
How long does it take until I'm able to find my site in search engines? & Why isn’t my site listed in search engines
Usually, it takes around one month to appear in a Google search. Please note: If you delete a page it won’t update immediately on Google
Tips to increase speed and search engine ranking:
1. Add meta-data:
Note: Google prefers sites with rich text content - approx 250-300words/page - and good meta-data: meta-tags, keywords and description. So it helps to add text to your Wix site.
This guide shows you how to update the meta-data of your site on Wix: http://support.wix.com/index.php/Document_Settings
2. Submit your site to a few directories - "search for ‘add site’" via google.com
Another option that will greatly improve your SEO is by connecting your own domain name to your Wix site. You can do this via upgrading: Learn more about upgrading your website

Simply open your Wix in the editor and go to: File > Settings > Title
You will find screen shots of how to change your title here: http://support.wix.com/index.php/Document_Settings
Once you have changed your title be sure to hit Save!
Tip: To improve your search engine optimization (SEO) you may also want to update the tags (keywords) and description of your site. Learn how here: http://support.wix.com/index.php/Document_Settings
Where/How can I update the meta-tags, keywords and description of my site?
Simply open your Wix in the editor and go to: File > Settings and you'll find where to update the tags and description of your site.
You will find screen shots of how to do this here: http://support.wix.com/index.php/Document_Settings
Once you have changed your tags and description be sure to hit Save!
How many keyword tags can I add?
You can add up to 10 tags. Don’t worry, search engines like google don’t read more.
How do I copy the embed code? / How do I grab and copy the embed code?
Open your Wix in the editor.
Go to Publish > Embed. You can copy the code from there.
Note: For MySpace, use the MySpace icon in the top left and follow the steps. You’ll find more help on Wix and MySpace here. [link to wiki help > MySpace]
How can I "un-publish" my site / Make my Wix site invisible to search engines?
If you don't want your site to be visible to search engines, you can unpublish it by going to settings-----> privacy -------> uncheck "list in search engines".
Once you have unchecked "list in search engines" be sure to hit Save!
Please note: If the site has already been indexed it will take about one month to be updated in the Google search engine. A trick around this if your site has already been indexed is to open your Wix in the editor, go to File > Save As and save it under a new name. Then be sure to go to Settings > uncheck "list in search engines". Then go to your My Account and delete the one that has been indexed that you want private.
Why do search engines still show a site I deleted?
Just like it takes the search engines time to find a new website, it also takes some time for them to recognize the fact that a certain website is no longer there or that it has changed.
For a changed/deleted site, It usually takes about a week or more to be recognized as such, and a couple of weeks more for its cached part to be erased as well.
This is a search engine behavior that we are not able to control and it varies from one search engine to the next.
Tip: Use Keywords in the Text - especially title - of of your website
A quick way to boost your SEO is with a title headline "H1" that includes a keyword or two you want to promote. The two main keywords you want to be promoted in search engines for. Keep is clear, simple...and it helps focus users to what your site is about.
e.g. Rent a Photographer, , or View My Photography Galleries, View my nature photos
In the editor go to Text > Title ... and be sure to place it first above all other text.
Tip: Font size should be bigger than 30
