Music FAQ

1. Which music format does Wix support?

Wix supports audio files in mp3 format with a size limitation of 10MB per file.
If your music file is not an mp3, please convert it to mp3.
Please make sure that the file name contains only Latin characters and has an .mp3 suffix.

2. What is the size of the MP3 that I can upload to Wix ?

You can upload up to 10 MB .
If your file exceeds the size limitation, consider re-compressing it in a lower data rate or if possible, splitting it into several smaller files.

3. How do I set continuous music on my site ? / How do I play music continuously as people move from page to page?

1. Set your player to auto-start (see below)

Note: You can only play uninterrupted music when you move between pages when your site is designed with a Mini Page.

2. Put the player anywhere outside the Mini Pages box/outline in the editor.
That way as people move between you Mini Page pages, your music player will not be affected and will play continuously.

4. How can I set the music to start automatically?

1. Click on the music player

2. Click Settings in property panel (bottom of editor)

3. Check the auto-start box
