I made a website in Wix. How do I upgrade it to Premium?
Simply go to My Account in Wix.com, rollover the Wix site you wish to connect and hit "Upgrade".
How long are Wix upgrade contracts?
To make it easy we offer yearly and monthly agreements.
If you sign for a monthly agreement, the contract length is one month and you are automatically billed on a monthly basis. If you sign up for a yearly agreement, the contract length is one year and you are automatically billed on a yearly basis. Of course, yearly agreements offer you extra savings!
After I upgrade my site, will I be able to update it as before and use all the editors’ functions?
Yes, you can absolutely make any changes/updates to your website as you would like, and as many times as you need to. In fact, this is a big part of the Wix offering - that you control the Content Management System and can make changes to keep your site current with your activities.
Also, with the premium account you will have a better bandwidth and capacity for your updates.
How do I add Google Analytics /a stats counter to my Wix site
It’s easy to add Google Analytics to your Wix site. Simply follow the steps here.

Why? We want to help you track your sites visitors. However, although Google Analytics is a free service, it requires you to have your own URL (like www.mydomain.com). What exactly do you mean by “Remove Wix Ads”?
Web content created for free with Wix includes a small Wix tab on the upper right and a footer that promotes Wix.com when published.
There is also a Wix logo in the Wix pre-loader. You can remove these features by upgrading your Wix.
What bandwidth and storage do I get with Wix Premium Upgrades?
Each upgrade offers you more bandwidth and storage than a free Wix. To compare upgrades and select the plan that best suits you, simply go to My Account, rollover your Wix and hit Upgrade.
How do I cancel my Upgrade?
It's easy. As there are no cancellation fees you can cancel your upgrade at anytime. Simply email us. Please include your username and your Wix URL AND your website's personal domain (if you have one).

I’ve connected my Wix site to its own domain. If I edit it, will it automatically update?
Yes! Editing published Wix sites and widgets that use their own domain are like all Wix creations: anytime you edit and save them, changes will be automatically updated in all published locations.
I added the wrong domain when purchasing my Upgrade. What should I do?

Can I move my Premium Upgrade to another Wix site?
To move your premium status to another Wix site, or use another domain name then you simply need to inform us via email, for no additional charge.
Please email us with your Wix username, your login email to Wix, and the name of new the Wix you want to upgrade/change.
Note: The option of connecting two domain names to one doc will be possible in the future.
Where do I need to insert my domain to connect it to my Wix site?
Using your own domain is a premium upgrade feature.
You can easily Upgrade your Wix by going to My Account, rolling over your Wix and hitting “Upgrade”. Purchase the relevant upgrade plan and you will be prompted to add your URL.
Can I change the title of my upgraded website from “Wix.com” to something else?
Of course! Wix.com is only a default title. You can change the title of all of your Wix creations, even if they are not Upgraded.
Simply open your Wix in the editor and go to: File > Settings > Title. After you have changed your title be sure to hit Save!
Do I need to transfer and host my domain on Wix ?
No. You can continue with your current domain host. All you need to do to have your Wix site connected to your domain is to “point your domain to Wix”. You can find further instructions here.
What do you mean by “pointing my domain to Wix”?
As Wix currently does not offer domain name hosting, “pointing your domain” or ”domain pointing” is the technical term for the method to connect your domain to your Wix site.
It is not the same as domain redirecting or transferring. You stay with your current domain name registrar and they “point” your address to the Wix IP. Don’t worry if you don’t understand. Your domain name registrar (the company you purchased your domain name from) does. You will find the complete set of instructions on pointing your domain here.
Can I replace the Wix Favicon with my own?
The Upgrade option that allows you to easily replace the Wix favicon with the one you want - is coming very soon.
Why doesn’t the URL of my website change when I go to inner pages of my Wix website, eg: www.example.com/home?
Flash does not support these URL structures. As Wix websites are built in flash, there is no change in your URL.
What is the Wix server name?
Wix does not currently offer domain name hosting. Thus you do not need the Wix server name to connect your domain.
To connect your domain to your Wix site, all you need to do is point your domain to the Wix DNS: 216.139.213.144. You’ll find more information on the process here.
What is the difference between “Pointing My Domain” & “Redirecting My Domain” to Wix?
Often, the place where we buy our domain names (URLs) is NOT the same place as where we design and store our website (such as Wix.com). Currently, Wix does not offer domain name hosting. Thus, to Connect Your Domain to your Wix site, you must “point your domain” to the Wix Server.

Domain pointing is one method to link your domain to your website on Wix.com. It means that your domain name stays hosted at the place you purchased it from, such as Domain Registrar’s like GoDaddy & Enom. Your domain host then “points” your domain name to the Wix server that host’s your website.
Redirecting your domain, also know as domain forwarding or domain transfer, would mean that you transfer the domain name from your current registrar to another one. For example, Wix would take over hosting your domain name as well as your website. Wix does not offer this service.
My Domain Name Registrar ask for the name of the Wix server and 3 different DNS but you only gave me one in your Connect Your Domain instructions. How Come?
You domain name resistrar thinks you are asking to redirect (or transfer) your domain name registration to Wix. Let them know that you want to stay with them as your domain name registrar.
In order to connect your domain to your Wix site you require them simply to point your domain to the Wix DNS: 216.139.213.144. You will find a sample email to send them here.
