How to fix a Login/saving problems
If you encounter a consistent login/saving problem, you should first check if you encounter this problem in other browsers.
Also, please check if you have the latest flash version and try to clear your cache memory.
If you can, ask a friend with the same computer and browser in your area if he can try it for you and see if he gets the same results.
- In case that the problem is with your Firefox popup blocker, please perform this test to make sure:
go to the tools menu and click options, in the dialog that popsup choose the content tab.
click the button on the top right called "exceptions" (the top most), in the list that pops up you should see "www.wix.com" if its not there add it and also add “Wix.com”.
If "www.wix.com" and “Wix.com” was listed there is another test you to perform:
The top-most checkbox in the content section of the options dialog is called "block pop-up windows" , unselect it (just for a test and don’t forget to turn it back on) apply and go to wix.com, see if everything works.
This popup blocker check should be done for any browser you use.
- Another reason for saving/log-in problem in Wix may be due to the flash player settings.
So please check if your flash player settings are compatible.
When you are on the Wix.com homepage, Right click on mouse – settings.
The flash settings box will open, go to the middle tab: local storage – and make sure you have at least 1mb for use. It is also recommended to check the left tab: display, and enable hardware acceleration.

Why when saving my Wix with a new name, do I get a "Name Already Taken" error?
Document names are unique. You can only have one document with a specific name. Note: Documents that were deleted from your account still confine their name. You would not be able to use it for a new document. But worry not. This does not affect the title of the document. Solution Try saving to a different name. If this did not solve the problem try to: Sign-in again with your email and password. Sometimes it seems you are logged in although the connection is lost. If this did not solve the problem try to: Close your Wix and clear the browsers cache. Then go back in and try to save again.
