Go Fast – Edit and Customize ready-made MySpace layouts

All you need to do is jump onto the Wix editor (it’s free to register with Wix.com if you haven’t already), select the layout that suits you and get customizing.

Of course it may help if you stick to these few design principles and techniques, recommended by the Wix team:

1.Choose a layout that fits you – and then make it your own! Wix is designed so that all ready-made layouts are FULLY editable – so you can really make them your own!

2.Change the Colors: One of the quickest ways to make a template your own is to change the colors.

3.Play around with typography Changing the font, size and color will give your layout a different look and feel.

4.KISS Animation & Flash The cool part about Wix is you can add flash without having to deal with programming. There’s tons of animation and behaviors waiting for you to play with... just don’t forget the KISS principle: Keep It Simple, Stupid!

5.Write some cool text. Short, sweet and to the point. Or, if you want to make it long, don’t forget to use paragraphs to make it easier to read.

6.Upload your own music, pics, vids, images… easily set your own images as background, move parts of the layout around, upload videos, music and pics and arrange them in cool album and players…

7.Publish: Then, when you are ready to put it on MySpace – you hit “publish” > “embed”, copy the code and paste it into MySpace.

PS When you’re bored or ready for a change, you can log back into Wix.com, edit your layout and once you hit save, it will automatically update. It really is that simple.
