Whether you want to send out a comment as a way to socialize, for networking or marketing, here these simple tips will help get your free MySpace layouts and Comments seen, loved - and forwarded!

Too often I see people forwarding the same comment with the same messages and images. I challenge you to do something different!

Why? Because I know if you spend a bit of time on designing comments you’ll be miles ahead of the rest!

I’ve put together these simple tips to help you get started:

  • Design for your “Friend”

Put your friends first. Are you sending a love comments to your gf/bf? A fan comment to your favorite singer? A promotional comment for your business? Whoever they are, design from the perspective of a comment they would like. You might even consider making one great comment to send round to a whole group of friends – only personalizing the message eg with the person’s name every time you send it. With Wix such a modification takes seconds.

  • Cool Text

A comment isn’t that big so I recommend short and sweet. If you want to go longer, consider resizing the comment so people don’t need a magnifying glass to read your awesome text.

  • Colors

Choose colors that match your message. Another fun option is to match your comment to the background colors of your “friend”. Again this change is easy to make in Wix so you could create a range of comments in different colors.

  • Images & Animation

Choose an image that enhances your message. You may also want to make it move – Wix has a ton of animation & behaviours options waiting to be integrated.

And finally: Be Creative! By All Means Use Pre-Made – Just don't forget to customize!

At this very moment there are hundreds of fully editable comments waiting for you to change and personalize on Wix.com. Besides changing the text, the colors, you can utilize Wix animation options to leave a moving image. Be inventive! Be funny, inspirational, or sales-oriented…just don’t be like everyone else.

And if it is for marketing purposes, consider a soft sell like a subtle link. You don’t want to be considered spam and ignored – you want to be forwarded!
