Page Settings
Page size
Here you can set the dimensions of your site.
The optimum resolutions for viewing a site across browsers is
Width: between 940 - 1000
Height: 650
Background Color
Background color allows you to change the colour that surrounds your site.
1. Click on "Background Color"
2. Choose your prefered color.
3. Click "Apply"
Note: If you are looking to change the background of your site/site pages use Page Parts > Background
URL Settings
The structure of a Wix URL is: Wix.com/username/Wixdocumentname. You can change both your document name and your username.
If you would like to have your OWN domain name eg www.mydomain.com you can do so really easily with Wix premium upgrades
Note: be sure to select an upgrade that includes using your own domain.

Google Analytics Settings
Google Analytics is a powerful site statistics tool used to analyze traffic to your Wix website.
To add Google Analytics to your Wix site:
Copy & paste your Google Analytics ID / Web property ID - it looks like: UA-123456-1

Please Note: Using Google Analytics requires you to have your own URL (like www.mydomain.com) and thus requires you to Upgrade your site to a package that includes your own domain.
SEO Settings
Wix is search engine friendly
Every Wix creation is search engine friendly, so that search engines like Google & Yahoo! can find you.
However, to take advantage of this feature of Wix you need to make sure you update your site's SEO "Search Engine Optimization" settings:
Title, Tags & Description
Site Title
This name will be placed at the top of your website in the browser and will appear in Search engine as your site title.
Describe "what is your site about" (in 2-5 words).
For example: Your Name / Your company name, Job description, Location
John Smith Photography, Photographer, London
TIP: The Importance of your first title
Site Description
This text will appear below your site title in search engine listings. Use 15-20 words to describe your website.
eg Google Maps = site title
Description = find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.
Tags
Add up to 10 keywords (words/short phrases separated by commas) that describe your website content & what words people would search for you.
example: For small sites it may help to include company name, what you do & your name.
John Smith, photography, photographers, london, wedding photography, portraits
Listed in Search Engines
It is also important that you keep the "Listed in search engines" box checked if you want to make sure your site is searched.

Privacy Settings

If, for any reason, you don't want your site to be listed in search engines ie not search by search engines
Uncheck "List in search engines" box
